Bruges, BELGIUM

A collection of my favorite photos from my day trip to Bruges, Belgium (Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014) while studying abroad in Brussels. We traveled by train and spent the day visiting chocolate shops, eating waffles, wandering around the Markt, went on a canal cruise with a tour guide who explained everything in English, French and Dutch (with comedy different in each language!) and walked through the Gruuthuse Museum and cafe/bar.

Notable places I visited:

  • The Markt (13th century market with famous bell tower)
  • The Gruuthuse Museum (history museum; audio tour of Bruges in the 13th century)
  • Canal tour through Bruges
